Teamsters Local Union No. 455 Proudly Announces the Winners of the 2007
Goggins II is excited and very
grateful to accept the $2000 scholarship award, in being chosen to
receive this scholarship, he is very much obliged that the Union is
willing to help support his aspirations of becoming a chemical
engineer at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Alonzo
calls his goal an "aspiration" instead of "dream" simply for the
fact that it's a desire. He wants the committee to know that
he is driven with desire to attain this goal and therefore the money
is well invested.
Goodman would like to thank
Teamsters Local Union No. 435 for the $2000 scholarship. She
will be attending the University of Northern Colorado in the fall
where she plans on becoming an elementary school teacher for the 1st
or 2nd grade. She knows that with hard work she can accomplish
anything and looks forward to furthering her education. This
scholarship has put her so much closer to achieving her goals.
Niko Johnson accepts the $2000
